Sports Injuries

3.2.2 Sport Physioterhapy

Sports injuries can cause damage to your ligaments, tendons, joints, muscles, nerves, or blood vessels. Sometimes, you may need to undergo a surgical procedure before we can begin your rehabilitation to help you return to work and sports commitments. We are also highly skilled in sports massage and biomechanical analysis to assist in achieving high-quality performance while recovering. For elite athletes, we design a strength and conditioning program to ensure they achieve their full sporting potential.

We commonly see:

  • Tendon sprains and strains at all body parts

  • Ligament tear

  • Acute or recurrent muscular tears/injuries

  • Chronic overuse injuries

  • Biomechanical injuries- faulty movement pattern and poor sports technique

Post-operation rehabilitation:

  • Rotator cuff muscle repair

  • Arthroscopy

  • Joint replacement (knee, hip)

  • ACL reconstruction

  • Meniscus repair

  • Spinal fusion

Fracture management:

We provide an individualized rehabilitation program for trauma management.
